Meet the Doctor
Dr. Ron Smith
Dr. Smith joined Air Force after graduating High School where he served as an Air Traffic Controller for four years and is a Gulf War Veteran. He attended Southern University and would later graduate from Louisiana State University with a B.S. in Occupational Therapy. After six years as an Occupational Therapist, Dr. Smith pursued and completed his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia. After Graduating from MCG, Dr. Smith completed a general practice residency at Penobscot Community Health Center. After graduation from his General practice residency, Dr. Smith moved to atlanta and joined the dental staff at the Good Samaritan Health Center. During his tenure at the good Samaritan health center, Dr. Smith served as a instructor to Dental Students, Hygiene Students, dental assistant students and pre doctoral candidates. Dr. Smith has participated in several dental outreach events which helped to provide dental services to both adults and children who could not normally afford dental services. He has also provided services to disabled and developmentally delayed individuals. Dr. Smith is an adjunct Associate Professor of General Dentistry at the Medical College of Georgia.
